Jakarta - Not only achieving achievements in developing innovation and technology, Toshiba is now showing its concern through social activities, especially in the month of Ramadan. Toshiba carries out corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives with a program entitled "Toshiba Shares the Goodness of Ramadhan #SharingMatters".

In collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, Toshiba provides support to underprivileged communities, especially orphans.

With the tagline #SharingMatters, Toshiba emphasizes the importance of sharing in the fabric of togetherness and social care, especially in the holy month of Ramadan. For Toshiba, sharing is not just about providing material assistance, but also about creating strong bonds between fellow humans.

As part of the CSR campaign, Toshiba will distribute basic food packages and prayer equipment to several orphanages supported by the Dompet Dhuafa foundation in four cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Yogyakarta. This step is in line with Toshiba's commitment to providing a positive impact on the communities where the company operates, especially at important moments such as Ramadan.

Apart from distributing basic food packages and prayer equipment, Toshiba will also donate refrigerators to orphanages. It is hoped that the refrigerator can provide real benefits to orphanage residents for storing various food ingredients and keeping them healthy and always fresh.

“At Toshiba, we believe in the importance of contributing to society. "Through this program, we hope to provide real benefits to those in need, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan," emphasized Hafizh Maulana, Head of Marketing Communication Toshiba Lifestyle Indonesia.

Toshiba Sharing the Goodness of Ramadan #SharingMatters is not just an ordinary CSR program, but a meaningful step to make a real difference in the lives of underprivileged communities, especially orphans, during the holy month of Ramadan. Through concrete actions and strong commitment, Toshiba not only provides material assistance, but also spreads the message about the importance of sharing and caring for others. Hopefully this program will be the first step for the greater good for all. (*)
