Promotion Period and Eligible Products: The Toshiba 20L Steam Oven “60-Day Trial” promotion (the “Promotion”) is valid from 15 April 2025 to 30 June 2025 (both dates inclusive) in Singapore. This Promotion applies only to purchases of Toshiba 20L Steam Oven models MS3-STQ20SE(BK) and MS3-STQ20SE(WH) (each an “Eligible Product”) made during this period.
Eligibility: The Promotion is open to individual customers who are residents of Singapore and aged 18 or above, and who purchase an Eligible Product from an authorized Toshiba retailer in Singapore during the Promotion Period. Employees of Toshiba, its distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The Promotion is intended for end-consumers only; purchases made for resale or commercial purposes (e.g., by dealers or resellers) are not eligible.
Full Payment Requirement: To qualify for this Promotion, the Eligible Product must be purchased at full price with payment made in full at the time of purchase. Purchases under instalment payment plans, financing arrangements, lay-by, or any form of deferred payment do not qualify for this Promotion.
60-Day Trial Period: The trial period under this Promotion is sixty (60) calendar days, starting from the date the Eligible Product is delivered to the customer (as indicated on the delivery order document). If the product is purchased and taken home immediately without a delivery service, the 60-day period starts from the date of purchase as indicated on the sales invoice. If the customer is not satisfied with the product, he/she may return the product within this 60-day period in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. For purchases made on 29 June 2025 (the last day of the Promotion Period), the latest allowable return date is 29 August 2025. Any return made after the 60-day trial period (or after 29 August 2025, whichever is earlier) will not be accepted under this Promotion.
Daily Usage Charges and Refund Calculation: Customers must pay the full purchase price of the Eligible Product upfront. If the customer returns the product within the trial period, Toshiba will refund the purchase price of the product minus a rental fee of SGD 2.00 per day for each day from the date of delivery up to and including the date of return. The rental fee accrues for every calendar day that the customer has possession of the product (regardless of usage). The refund amount to the customer will thus be the original purchase price minus SGD 2 × (the number of days the product was in the customer’s possession). No interest or additional compensation will be paid on the refunded amount. If the product is not returned within the 60-day trial period, the customer will not be entitled to any refund (i.e. the sale will be considered final after 60 days).
Condition of Returned Product: The Eligible Product must be returned in good working condition, with only normal wear and tear. All original included accessories and the original packaging must be returned with the product. Toshiba will inspect the returned product and reserves the right to apply deductions for damage or missing items as follows:
If the original box and packaging materials are not returned or are severely damaged, or if the product is not in acceptable working condition (e.g. has been misused or damaged beyond normal wear and tear), Toshiba reserves the right to either reject the return entirely or impose additional charges at its discretion (further reducing the refund amount). Toshiba’s assessment of the product’s condition and the applicable deductions (if any) shall be final.
Return Procedure: To return the product under this Promotion, the customer must bring the Eligible Product to the Toshiba Redemption Centre located at 151 Lorong Chuan, New Tech Park (Lobby E), #04-05, Singapore 556741 within the 60-day trial period. Returns will only be accepted during the Redemption Centre’s operating hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–12:00 pm and 1:00 pm–5:30 pm (closed on weekends and public holidays). It is strongly recommended that the customer contact the Redemption Centre hotline at 8067 9609 at least one business day in advance to schedule a return appointment. The following items must be presented and/or returned to Toshiba when making the return:
Toshiba staff will verify the purchase and inspect the product on the spot. The customer is responsible for transporting the product to the Redemption Centre; any costs incurred in returning the product (e.g. transport or courier fees) will be borne by the customer. Toshiba will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during transit if arranged by the customer.
Refund Processing: Once the returned product has been accepted by Toshiba (after inspection and confirmation that all return conditions are met), the refund amount (calculated as per Clause 5 and after any applicable deductions) will be processed. Toshiba will endeavour to process the refund within five (5) working days from the date of return acceptance. The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase whenever possible (for example, by credit card reversal or bank transfer to the customer). If the original payment method is not feasible for refund, Toshiba will arrange an alternative refund method at its discretion. Please note that it may take additional time after Toshiba’s processing for the refunded amount to be credited to the customer’s account, depending on the bank or payment provider.
