TOSHIBA “Extravaganza Sale” - Terms and Conditions

1. The “Extravaganza Sale” event (the “Event”) is organized by MD (Singapore) Consumer Product Co Pte Ltd (Company Registration Number: 201906062M) (the “Company” or “TOSHIBA”). By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.

2. Eligibility

(a) This Event is open to Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents and Singapore Residents (with a valid employment pass or work permit or long-term pass which is valid at the time of the contest period. Limited to only aged 18 years and above as stated on their Identity Card/Passport.

(b) By participating in this Event, each participant warrants and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by the Company from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms and Conditions.

(c) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria as stated herein at any time (with or without notice or reason) and/or determine at its sole discretion whether any participant should be excluded from entering or participating in the Event.

(d) To qualify for this Event, participants must

(i) Purchase a minimum $1000 worth of Toshiba Designated Products in a single receipt; and

(ii) Purchase during Event Period 1^st December to 28^th February 2023;

3. Event Period

This Event will commence on 1^st December 2022, 00:00 hrs and end on 28^th February 2023, 23:59 hrs Singapore Time (“Event Period”).

4. Event Mechanics

(a) The Event mechanics are as follows: Within 1^st December 2022, 00:00hrs to 28^th February 2022, 23:59 hrs, purchase any Toshiba Designated Products that are worth $1000 and above from any authorized retailers to participate in the Event in a single receipt.

(b) Eligibility for Event vouchers redemption list as follow:

(1) Include at least one Toshiba Designated Products in a single receipt, with a total payment of more than $1,000 to qualify for $50 grocery vouchers.

(2) Include at least one Toshiba Designated Products in a single receipt, with a total payment of more than $2,000 to qualify for $100 grocery vouchers.

(3) Include at least one Toshiba Designated Products in a single receipt, with a total payment of more than $3,000 to qualify for $200 grocery vouchers.

(4) Include at least one Toshiba Designated Products in a single receipt, with a total payment of more than $4,000 to qualify for $300 grocery vouchers.

(c) Designated Products for Event list as follow:

Add on: Includes small appliances such as rice cookers, ovens, water heaters, vacuum cleaners, kettles, air pots, fans and air purifiers.

Things to take note: If the dealer's sales price exceeds the Retail Selling Price we will redeem the vouchers based on the Retail Selling Price.

5. Event Period

(a)  Purchase Date (As per invoice): 1^st December 2022 to 28^th February 2023

(b)  Delivery Date: Must be within 1^st December 2022 to 31^st March 2023

(c)  Redemption Date: 1^st December to 14^th April 2023

TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore will not entertain any redemptions once the redemption date and delivery date are over.

6. TOSHIBA Extravaganza Sale Redemption Form

Each person eligible to redeem the voucher can get a TOSHIBA Extravaganza Sale Redemption Form from the purchasing store. The form will instructions on where to redeem the voucher and what to bring during voucher collection.

The form needs to be fill out as follow:

·       Full Name (as per NRIC):

·       Contact Number:

·       Email Address:

·       Designated Product Model:

·       Product Serial Number:

·       Amount Of Voucher Collected:

·       Date Of Collection:

Each winner is required to sign the TOSHIBA Extravaganza Sale Redemption Form and Acknowledgement and Agreement upon voucher collection.

7. Voucher Collection Deadline

Each winner must redeem the voucher by 14^th April 2023. Winners of the Event are not eligible to redeem vouchers after the Voucher Collection Deadline above mentioned. TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore retains the right to forfeit the entitled voucher(s) if vouchers are not collected during the Voucher Collection Deadline.

8. Documents for Voucher Collection

Documents required for voucher collection: Each winner is required to bring along:

·       Hard copy of the product serial number (on the carton box)

·       Hard copy of invoice or receipt

·       Present his/her NRIC / Identify card for identity verification

·       TOSHIBA Extravaganza Sale Redemption Form (collect from the purchasing store)

a)     The voucher is to be collected by the winner in person. Suppose the winner is unable to collect the voucher in person, a Letter of Authorization is required.

b)    Letter of Authorization should include date, name of authoriser, name of person whom it has been authorized, reason of unavailability, validity of authorization letter, original signature of authoriser. 

c)     During the voucher collection, TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore reserves the right to forfeit vouchers if there is any misleading, false, tampered, or wrong information submitted.

d)    All vouchers are required for self-collection only at our TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore office located at: 158 Cecil St, #07-01, Singapore 069545 during weekdays only exclude public holidays (9am to 6pm and excluded lunch hour 12pm to 1pm).

e)     Collection of vouchers are strictly on appointment basis only.

9. Other terms

a)     By participating in this Event, each participant agrees and consents that any personal data given by him/her to TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore is accurate and allows us to use it for marketing purposes in organizing, conducting, managing, and administering this Contest.

b)    All data of successful entries will be kept confidential with TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore.

c)     TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore reserves the right to disqualify any participants who did not meet the following requirements: (1) is suspected of fraud; or dishonest with the given information of the invoice details and product serial number during the voucher collection, TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore will forfeit their winning voucher.

d)    TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore artworks shown are for illustration purposes only. Actual products may vary due to product enhancement. TOSHIBA Lifestyle reserves the right to change the product images and any specifications at any time without prior notice.

e)     TOSHIBA Lifestyle Singapore reserves the rights to revise any of the terms under these terms and conditions (including but not limited to varying the Campaign Period and Voucher collection period) or withdraw or alter any part of this Event at any time without prior notice and/or assuming any liability to any party(ies).

f)     The above terms and conditions of this Event will be construed, governed, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

g)    The decisions of [TOSHIBA] on all matters relating to or in connection with the Event are final, conclusive and binding. [TOSHIBA] shall not be obliged to give any reason or enter any correspondence with any person on any matter concerning the Event.

h)    [TOSHIBA] shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of, or in connection with the Event and/or redemption or use of the Vouchers howsoever arising, including but not limited to, fulfillment of the voucher(s), any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, or suspension by [TOSHIBA] of this Event shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against shall for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

i)      In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the Event, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

j)      A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any terms of such agreement.
