Sponge Cake


Ingredients :

Eggs (about 65g each)  4
Self-raising flour (sifted) 200g 
Sugar  180g
Oil  40g 
Vanilla extract  2g


  1. Use an electric mixer to beat the eggs until foamy at medium speed.
  2. Add the sugar in three batches and continue to beat until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the sifted self-raising flour and mix with a spoon until there are no lumps, but do not overmix the batter.
  4. Add the oil and vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Pour the batter into the electric pressure cooker, tap it a few times to remove any air bubbles, and close the lid.
  6. Press the "Function" button and select the "Cake" function.
  7. Press the "Timing" button and set the cooking time to 45 minutes and start cooking.
  8. After cooking, invert the cake onto a plate, slice and serve.
